We would like to inform that due to Erasmus Mundus regulations, MARIHE Consortium will apply the student selection of the scholarship holders of 2020 for the year 2021 (postponed intake, cf. http://marihe.eu/…/134-information-on-consortium-decision-r…).

As a result, there will be NO regular (further) application period for participation in MARIHE with an Erasmus Mundus scholarship for intake 2021.

For participation as a self-funded student, there will be a new application period (approximately open from February - May 2021).

As of 07 April 2020, all scholarship applicants (intake 2020) have been informed on the outcome of the student selection. That means, every applicant who has been declared eligible should have received an e-mail with the notification of his/her result. Due to the restraints of the COVID-19 pandemic, MARIHE Consortium decided on the following:

1. The student intake in 2020 will be suspended. The next student intake will take place in 2021.
That means that the next programme start is postponed for one year so that the next cohort will not start in August 2020, but in August 2021 in Krems/Austria. The mobility scheme remains unchanged.

2. The Consortium plans to keep the current student selection (of scholarship holders) for intake 2021. For self-funded students, there will be a new application period.
However, our consortium is still dicussing with EACEA (Erasmus Mundus funding structure) on the regulations and requirements.

We will keep you updated.

MARIHE Consortium takes the great pleasure to announce two MARIHE Scholarships for student intake in 2020. With this opportunity, our consortium aims to support excellent applicants in their career development in higher education, research and innovation.

The MARIHE Scholarships are announced in commemoration of Prof. LIU QIANG (1981-2019) from Beijing Normal University.

The two scholarships are worth 6.000 EURO each, and lead to a reduction of the participation costs for MARIHE programme by 50%. Applicants awarded with a MARIHE scholarship will be charged only 6.000 EURO in participation costs. The scholarships are awarded to applicants for participation in MARIHE as self-funded student (without an Erasmus Mundus scholarship).

To apply for a MARIHE scholarship, applicants just need to submit an application in the ongoing application period for student intake 2020. Deadline is 03 May 2020.
