MARIHE Scholarships

In order to support students from deprived backgrounds and first-in-family students, MARIHE awards for the first time a special scholarship ("MARIHE Scholarship" which is different from the Erasmus Mundus scholarship) to support student travel for self-funded students (without Erasmus Mundus scholarship).

A maximum of two MARIHE Scholarships per intake for up to EUR 6 000 will be offered. If you are interested in this special scholarship, please contact MARIHE Secretariat after you have submitted your application as a self-funded student.

Memories of an inspirational teacher, great colleague, and loyal friend

The MARIHE Scholarship for self-funded students is awarded in commemoration of Dr. Qiang Liu, who was an associate professor at the Institute of International and Comparative Education of Beijing Normal University, and made an invaluable contribution to the MARIHE project during 2012–2019.
